What information we collect, use, and why

We collect or use the following information to provide services and goods, including delivery and third party referrals:

• Names and contact details
• Role (Leader or Follower)
• Location
• Website user information (including user journeys and cookie tracking)
• Marketing Preferences: If you choose to opt-in, we retain your name and email address to inform you of future Oxford Tango Intensive events

Website Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to monitor traffic and improve our website performance. This service collects data in an anonymized, aggregated format. It does not identify individual visitors and does not use tracking cookies that follow you across other websites.

The processing of this data is handled by our hosting provider, Vercel. For more information on how they handle data and protect your privacy, please refer to the Vercel Privacy Notice.

Lawful bases and data protection rights

Under UK data protection law, we must have a “lawful basis” for collecting and using your personal information. The lawful basis we rely on is Consent — we have permission from you after we gave you all the relevant information. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

Consent: We rely on your explicit consent for our mailing list. You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us.

Where we get personal information from

• Directly from you (via our registration forms or email correspondence).

How long we keep information

Event Data: We keep your information only until the event you registered for has completed plus a reasonable time (4 weeks) to complete administrative processing.

Mailing List Data: Retained until you withdraw your consent or request deletion. We perform periodic reviews to ensure our list remains current.

Media

Photos and video may be taken during the seminar for promotional purposes. Please inform the organisers if you wish to opt out.
